המעקה המודולרי X-Rail מתחבר לרצפת גלריות מזנין להגנה מפני נפילות.
המעקה פותח על בסיס מערכת ה X-Guard ויכול לפיכך לשמש הן למיגון גלריות והן למיגון מכונות, עם או בלי שילוב פנלים. הפנלים יכולים להיות בדומה למגוון הפנלים ב X-Guard – פנלי רשת, פלסטיק או מתכת.
המעקה המודולרי כולל מעקה/מאחז יד, מעקה גובה ברך ופלטת מיגון "כף רגל". בשימוש בפנלים אין צורך במעקה הברך.
המערכת נבדקה ואושרה לתקנים הבאים, ועל גבי שלושת סוגי הרצפות:
- Concrete
- 38 mm mdf board placed on top of an I-beam in steel
- Grid floor placed above an I-beam in steel
- DIN EN ISO 14122-3: 2016
- BS 6180:2011
- AS 1657:2018
- OSHA 1910.2

X-Rail Fall Protection
Our X-Rail fall protection system can be used as an edge protection for mezzanine floors. The system is a modification of our X-Guard range and therefore the system can fill dual purposes, mezzanine protection and machine guarding. X-Rail can be used either without panels or with X-Guard Classic panels – mesh, plastic, and sheet metal.
Note! If no panel is used between the posts – Handrail, Knee rail and kick plate are used. If a panel is used between the posts, only the handrail and kickplate is mandatory.
Tested and approved against the following standards:
- DIN EN ISO 14122-3: 2016
- BS 6180:2011
- AS 1657:2018
- OSHA 1910.29
All tests and verification have been performed with below various types of floor to ensure that it works in different environments:
- Concrete

Technical information
Mesh panels
Our mesh panel 2200 mm comes in thirteen widths and the 1300 mm panel comes in fourteen widths. Both of the panels has customized post to fit the height. Se next page.
The standard panel colour is RAL 9011 but customised colours are available upon request.
Sheet metal and plastic panels
The X-Guard series also has a range of sheet metal and plastic panels. They come in three heights and widths. Sheet metal panels come in standard colour RAL 9011.
Post
The Classic 50×50 mm post comes in two heights and the colours range from RAL 1018 (Zink yellow).
Handrail
Available in length to fit panels with the width 1000 mm and 1500 mm. For other widths of panels, the handrail needs to be adjusted in length by being cut in place during assembly. Brackets for placement in keyholes are a standard default but if free placement is needed there is a seperated article number.
The standard colour is RAL 9011 (only available in this color).
Kick plate
A kick plate is always included in RAL 9011 (only available in this color). Available in length 1000 mm and 1500 mm, for other lengths the plate needs to be cut in place during assembly.
